Mentors
The Mentor relationship between a teen mother and an older Christian woman is one of the foundation blocks of the TMCI-Model. Mentors serve their individual teen mothers by being a friend, a confidant, an encourager and a cheerleader. Mentors within the TMCI-Model assist teen mothers in identifying and working towards their semi-annual goals.
Perhaps TMCInternational's Mentoring Program is currently the only component of the TMCI Training Process you are interested in. Perhaps you are working with teen mothers and wish to add a mentoring program to the activities you already provide teen mothers, TMCInternational is prepared to help you!
Through its resource of training and equipping those interested in providing a mentoring program to teen mothers, TMCInternational offers a Mentor Manual – a 3-ring binder training manual which includes training on:
- Developing a Purpose and Mission for Mentors
- Recruiting, Training and Supervising Mentors
- Cautions for Mentors
- All the forms you will need to work with Mentors (application, evaluation, Volunteer Handbook sample, etc.)
