Teen Mother Choices' Statistics
  • 100% of all the teenage mothers involved in the program finished high school.
  • Of the teenage mothers who went through the Teen Mother Choices program, 0% returned to welfare.

A Snapshot View of “The Plan”

TMCInternational exists to provide churches, other charitable organizations and individuals with the tools needed to serve parenting teenage mothers within their own communities. Christa March, the founder of Teen Mother Choices as taken the materials used in that proven ministry model to formulate extensive training materials and resources.

Training

Understanding that churches, other charitable organizations and individuals operating in distinctive ways, TMCInternational has designed a specific “Operating System” for each group.

  • TMCInternational’s Operating System for a Stand-Alone Organization

Some of the training resources made available in these operating systems are:

  • How to work under an existing Board of Directors or How to develop a Board of Directors
  • How to provide Lifeskills Workshops for teenage mothers
  • How to set and reach short and long range goals with teenage mothers
  • How to recruit, train and supervise the many volunteers needed to work with teenage mothers
  • Fundraising

Once a church, organization or individual completes the training within their specific Operating System, they will be certified as a “TMCI Licensee.”

Resources and Continued Training

After becoming a “TMCI Licensee,” the church, organization or individual will continue receiving resources and continued training through:

  • Annual Conferences
  • Additional Curriculum
  • Monthly “Encouragement” Calls
  • And much more

TMCInternational is using the same proven model for effectively serving teenage mothers which Teen Mother Choices has used since 1989. Christa March, the founder of Teen Mother Choices has taken the materials used in that ministry model to formulate extensive training materials and resources. By providing this model to churches, organizations and individuals, TMCInternational will provide a quicker way for them to begin serving teenage mothers within their own communities.
